  • Integrative psychiatry means I offer medication, while also recommending evidence-informed complementary therapies to treat psychiatric symptoms and optimize wellness. I am not anti-medication at all. It is likely we will discuss the benefits of medications, but I also use supplements, psychotherapy, lifestyle management, mindfulness and trauma sensitive yoga based on your particular needs.

  • I see patients only in the state of NY at this time.

  • I only see adults age 18 and over.

  • That is totally okay! I will manage the medical aspects of your treatment and you can continue meeting your therapist as well. I will co-ordinate your care closely with your therapist.

  • I do not accept insurance or work with insurance companies in my practice directly, but I can provide an itemized receipt or superbill that may allow you to get some reimbursement from your insurance company if you have out-of-network benefits. You can find more information about my billing practices and fees here.

  • In community health settings, visits are for 15-20 minutes every few months for medication refills and very few Psychiatrists will offer psychotherapy. There is also a frequent turnover of providers so you might need to change providers often. It is also difficult to find a provider that is well-versed in integrative practices.

    As an out-of-network provider,

I will take more time with you during and between visits to work on your personalized goals.

I will collaborate with you to come up with a treatment plan that honors your wisdom and preferences.

I offer easy, hassle-free scheduling and communication with me between visits.

I will provide Evidence-informed, integrative psychiatry services that are difficult to find in agency or community health settings.

Making an investment in your mental health is making an investment in YOU!
